(Video) Syrian President: ‘In 2003 we proposed UN to get rid of WMD in the entire Middle East but U.S. was against the proposal’

Syrian President Bashar al Assad Charlie Rose Interview (full) September 9, 2013
This man is not responsible for chemical warfare on his own people. His people are being killed by extremist Sunni Muslims. He is trying to defend his country from Sunni insurgency and funding of extremists, to remove the Shia government. The mistake Assad is doing, is to collaborate with Iran. The collaboration with Iran makes everyone else nervous. But as the only Shia country in the region, another Shia nation is one of his only options to collaborate with. His stance on Israel, a victim of Muslim invasion and the creation of a fake people, is also against him.

  1. I think Assad is sincere in this interview. There is no evidence that he used chemical weapons on his people. As matter of fact there is more evidence that the rebels did it. And of course America uses the “children” to prove their points and attack Syria. I am convince that the Saudis(Obama’s masters) are behind that.Obama obeys them. He is part of the Muslim brotherhood. He was blatantly on their side in Egypt. Why can the world not acknowledge that? This war is about gas, oil, money and religion(Shiites against Sunnis). This is an excellent interview. If Obama gets his wish and goes to war with Syria and Assad is removed what will he do when the rebels start eliminating the Christians and all infidels in the country.Assad is fighting for the survival of this country. And how arrogant is the USA to go and attack a sovereign country that did not attack it. Leave the Syrians sort it out.

  2. Hi, I disagreed with the statement: “chemical weapons… As matter of fact there is more evidence that the rebels did it”. If you were one of the rebels, are you going to do that foolish thing? You fight for something but at time you act to kill a large number of your own group. It didn’t make sense at all.
